ATTENTION owners of Hyundai or Kia 2012-2021!
These cars do not have immobilizers (an electronic security device fitted to the car that prevents the engine from being started unless the correct key is used). This makes these cars very prone to theft. Thieves are rampant lately; we have 5 theft recovery vehicles in the shop right now! We suggest comprehensive insurance and a club for the steering wheel.
While it may look like a stick it was a tail of a rat! Luckily we were able to remove it during the service today. ๐ฎ๐

Driving on a flat tire will irrevocably damage the tire. The pile of "dust" in this picture is the interior of tire having been shredded by the metal rim.
When you get a flat, pull over as soon as it is safe to prevent this kind of tire damage.

Critters chew on all sorts of hoses and wires, even fuel hoses! If you smell fuel, make sure to get it inspected right away for repair. ๐ฎ๐ญ
Sometimes you just have to take apart the dash to find one small chewed wire (2nd pic). Almost like exploratory surgery! Dang rodents ๐๐คฌ๐

Cabin filters help keep dust, odors, smoke and pollen out of the inside of the car. It can also effect the airflow in the A/C system! Consider having the filter replaced if it has been a while or if you have seasonal allergies ๐คง๐ฎ๐
